양문모가 구현하는 추상적 화면은 회화에 대한 흥미로운 태도와 관점을 함의하고 있으며, 그의 방법론은 동시대 회화의 새로운 일면을 볼 기회를 제공한다. 2010년 홍익대학교 회화과를 졸업했고, 2022년 뒤셀도르프 쿤스트아카데미 회화과 및 무대미술과를 졸업했다. 개인전으로는 《Story About Failure》(뒤셀도르프 쿤스트아카데미, 독일, 2022), 《Forest Without Shadow》(AStA exhibition space, 뒤셀도르프, 2020), and 《Ex Ungue Leonem》(Space CAN Beijing, 베이징, 2011). 그룹전으로는 《Gates To The Garden》 (ES365, 뒤셀도르프, 2022) 등에 참여했다. 2023년 현재, 캔파운데이션 명륜동 레지던시에 입주해 있다.

The abstract elements in Moonmo Yang's works embody a new type of attitude and perspective on painting, providing an opportunity to see an inspiring practice of contemporary painting. The artist graduated from the Department of Painting at Hongik University in 2010 and the Department of Painting and Stage Design at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, Germany in 2022. His solo exhibitions include 《Story About Failure》(Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, Germany, 2022), 《Forest Without Shadow》(AStA exhibition space, Düsseldorf, 2020), and 《Ex Ungue Leonem》(Space CAN Beijing, Beijing, 2011). He also participated in the group exhibitions 《Gates To The Garden》 (ES365, Düsseldorf, 2022). As of 2023, Yang is participating in the residency at Can Foundation, Seoul.
